Daily Mindfulness 7/31/14 - Anger
“Notice a fly buzzing against the window, a spider on the wall or running across the floor. Feel how that affects you. Pause and ask if it wants to die, or if its death is necessary for you to live well. Notice what it feels like to experience a violent impulse - towards people being noise, toward fellow drivers on the road, toward people you fear. What does that do to your mind? What does it feel like to let the impulse pass?”
